What is UVeye?
UVeye technology offers a way for us to get a closer and more detailed look at our customers’ vehicles. This system uses scanners and artificial intelligence to capture your car’s condition and present it in a clear, easy-to-read report that your service advisor will go over with you.
While this system won’t replace the careful work of our service technicians, it will help them diagnose issues more efficiently while keeping customers informed along the way. The details of all UVeye reports are confirmed by our technicians before being presented to our customers, and the data captured is solely used by our team to benefit our guests and their vehicles.
How Does UVeye Work?
As you enter our service center, you’ll drive through the UVeye framework. Cameras near your vehicle’s tires will capture your tire tread level and scan for wear and tear and any damage. Underneath your vehicle, cameras will scan the undercarriage for rust and damage. Finally, a 360-degree scanner performs an exterior inspection to identify any scratches, dents, and/or safety concerns.
After the inspection is completed, UVeye will generate high-definition photos so that you and your service advisor can clearly see your Honda’s condition and discuss potential repairs.
